Perception = Power: How Expanding Your Inner Vision Unlocks Healing and Sovereignty
Every journey we embark upon carries stories.
Some are ancient. Some are inherited.
Some are written through our conscious choices, and others through unconscious survival.
But there’s one thing that determines how we walk our path -
one element that can transform confusion into clarity, reaction into response, and pain into wisdom:
Perception.
Perception is not just how we see the world - it’s how we experience ourselves within it.
And when we learn to refine and recalibrate our perception, we step into one of the most profound powers available to us: discernment rooted in self-awareness.
Close One Eye to See More Clearly
There’s a sacred paradox:
If you close one eye, your perception often becomes clearer.
This isn’t about ignoring half of reality - it’s about tuning into a deeper frequency.
By quieting the noise of distorted ego, inherited narratives, or conditioned reactivity, we allow intuition and vision to meet in balanced alignment.
In this state, we:
See beneath the surface
Hear the energy behind the words
Feel the space between intention and impact
Begin to trust our body as a barometer of truth
This is where sovereignty is born - when our inner compass becomes louder than external noise.
Astral Projection Perception: A Tool for Expanding Awareness
Imagine for a moment that you could view a conflict, challenge, or relationship from above - not spiritually escaping it, but emotionally elevating your awareness.
This is what I call Astral Projection Perception.
It’s the practice of observing from multiple angles:
The ego-self (the one protecting, defending, grasping)
The non-ego self (your wise, rooted witness)
The other party (their wounding, triggers, patterns)
This multidimensional awareness allows you to:
Pause before reacting
Expand empathy without abandoning boundaries
Understand projections (your own and others’)
Form new neural pathways around response, reflection, and meaning
When you perceive differently, you feel differently.
And when you feel differently, you choose differently.
The Two-Year-Old Within: Mirror Reflections in Relationships
At the core of all perception is the inner child.
Every human interaction is a mirror - and within that mirror, the unmet needs of our younger selves are reflected.
Deep inside, we all carry a version of the 2-year-old who didn’t receive the attunement, safety, or voice they needed.
Grief, anger, avoidance, people-pleasing, and disconnection often stem from that child's unprocessed emotions.
But here’s the opportunity:
In every trigger, every rupture, every moment of discomfort—we have a choice.
We can:
Repress the shadow… or reveal it.
Bypass the emotion… or sit with it.
Project onto others… or integrate it within.
When we choose to respond to that inner child with shadow love and light, we interrupt the generational thread. We become the safe presence we once needed.
And in doing so, we protect our children from inheriting that shadow unprocessed.
Healthy Perception = Conscious Power
Let’s bring it back home:
Perception determines your emotional resonance.
Emotional resonance determines your reactions.
Reactions shape your relationships.
Relationships shape your reality.
This is why perception is power.
Because when you shift your perception, you shift your life.
And that shift doesn’t require you to be perfect.
It only requires you to be present.
Reflection Prompts
Sit with these questions today:
What story am I attaching to this experience, and is it empowering me or limiting me?
Can I practice Astral Projection Perception in a current situation?
Where am I acting from my unmet inner child - and what does that version of me need to hear?
How can I practice perceiving both shadow and light without judgment?
Final Words
Your perception is a portal.
It’s where your inner world meets your external reality.
It’s not always about changing what you see - but about changing the way you see it.
When we learn to master perception,
we unlock the power to lead our lives with clarity, empathy, and truth.
So today, close one eye.
Listen to the space between the lines.
Let your intuition and vision hold hands.
And remember - the power has always been within you.
With clarity and expansion,
Chantelle
